ASSESSMENT FEEDBACK:

As explained during our meeting, the children will have regular assessments which will enable us to identify their strengths and weaknesses and target areas that need work.

We will use the following assessment feedback:

A = achieved

PA = Partially achieved

NA = Not achieved

The children who get PA or NA will get extra work to help them revise the concepts they are still struggling with. They are expected to complete the task at home and return it to school.

During the healthy week the children will be participating in a home economics activity. This will be held on Wednesday and they need to bring 2 paper plates, colours and markers.

Math and science journals are books in which students record their work and thinking. They can be used to: record information or the solutions to problems, along with the strategy and thought processes used to arrive at the solution.  Please do not mind if they are not perfect, completely correct or messy.  This is the students' own personal space where most of the time they can work freely with some guidance.  Please note that we will not be correcting them but we will still take note of their working and if the concept was understood.
